Dear members of the Korean Vascular Society,

The Vascular Research Group of the Korean Society of Cardiology, which has been leading vascular-related research and education since 2005 and driving academic exchanges, embarks on a new start as the Korean Vascular Society in 2023.

The Vascular Research Group has collaborated with related international societies in researching the pathophysiology, diagnosis, and treatment of arterial diseases. Recently, our research has expanded to include venous and lymphatic diseases, as well as the application of cutting-edge IT technologies. However, to fully realize the aspirations of our members, we are transitioning from a research group to the Korean Vascular Society.

The Korean Vascular Society aims to practically expand the research areas of the Vascular Research Group, further develop the international conference ‘Pulse Of Asia’(POA) led by the group, and elevate our journal, PULSE, to become the most authoritative academic publication. The society will operate a small and efficient office and establish a future-oriented management system.

To ensure a successful start and development of the Korean Vascular Society, a research-focused and collaboratively growing organization, our executive members commit themselves to dedication from the most humble positions.

We hope to build a robust platform with you to realize our shared dream.
